We would like to thank you for choosing to purchase one of our bicycles, we work hard to ensure that we provide some of the best and most exciting bicycles in the world.We are sure that you will be satisfied with your choice but in the unlikely event that you have a problem we at Charge will always work hard to solve any problem you might have with one of our products.
Should you have an issue which you believe is due to warrantable circumstances, you should address the matter at the earliest possible opportunity with the retailer that you purchased the product from. They should be the first point of communication and only they are legally and contractually obliged to deal with any after sales issue that you have with the product that they have sold you. Should they feel that the matter is of a warrantable nature they will then take it up with us.If, whilst within the warranty period, one of our products develops a fault which we deem due to warrantable issues, then, together with the retailer, we will do all we can to sort it out within a reasonable timescale.
Limited Warranty
Your Charge Bicycle is offered with the following Limited Warranty.
For Consideration the complete bicycle must be returned to the dealer for inspection, the authorized dealer will liaise with the relevant regional distributor to make the necessary arrangements.
Proof of purchase in the way of an original receipt must be provided with all claims.
Frame warranty
All Charge frames are guaranteed against manufacturing defect (defined as a defect in materials or workmanship) as delivered with the product for the following period from date of purchase:
All Steel, Aluminium & Titanium frames are guaranteed for a total period of 5 years from date of purchase with the exception of
Exclusions:
Blender & Scissor frames are guaranteed for a total of 1 year from date of purchase.
If a failure should ocomur due to faulty materials or workmanship as delivered with the product during the guarantee period, the frame will be replaced with the same or the nearest compatible frame available.
Where a claim is deemed not to be warrantable we will look to offer a reduced cost replacement option for the same or nearest compatible frameset.
Paint
Original paint finish is covered for a total period of 1 year from the date of purchase.
Component warranty
Your bicycle will come with parts that we have carefully selected from other manufacturers, and whilst they come on your Charge Bike, the warranty of these parts will fall under the warranty terms and conditions of the relevant brand/ distributor. Please contact your authorized dealer for additional information on making a warranty claim on such a part.
All other normal parts are guaranteed against a defect in materials or workmanship for a period of 1 year from the original date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions of this limited warranty. If a warrantable failure of a part should ocomur during the warranty period, the part will be repaired if possible or replaced if not with direct or the nearest compatible replacement.
Normal Wear Parts
Normal wear parts, defined as grips, inner tubes, tyres, cables, brake pads, chain, chain rings, sprockets, bearings and free-hub/bottom bracket parts have a 90 day limited warranty. Claims for these parts must be made within the 90 day period from original purchase date. Again, please contact your authorized dealer for warranty assistance on components.
Warranty Conditions
The warranty is extended only to the initial consumer purchaser.
Your bicycle must be assembled and a PDI (Pre delivery inspection) performed by a trained mechanic at the authorised dealer from which the purchase was made in order to validate the limited warranty.
The online warranty registration must be completed and returned to us upon purchase.
Your unique frame number is located underneath the bottom bracket shell.
If you require any help with completing the registration form, your authorized dealer will be happy to assist.
Exclusions
Any other claim not included in the above is void. This limited warranty does not cover paint damage, rust, failure arising from incompatible components fitted aftermarket or components that exceed the performance and/or intended purpose of the bicycle or failure arising from improper or no maintenance.
This warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, abuse, misuse, neglect or theft.
Claims involving these issues will not be honored.
Please note. Pressure washing of the bicycle and/or its components increases wear and therefore decrease the lifecycle of the part. Any claim due to a fault that is found to be a result of pressure washing will not be honoured.
